The title of the book is “Maria’s Island”. The book is sad but in the end it becomes happy. The author is Victoria Hislop. It is set on Spinalonga Island.
The main character is Maria. First Maria’s mother has leprosy and moves to Spinalonga. After a few days , she dies. Maria was very sad. When she grows up she becomes a doctor and finds the medicine to heal the people who have leprosy. That is her dream! The book has beautiful pictures. My favourite part of the book is the end.
I recommend this book to young children and everyone who likes sad and happy stories.

Matilda is a beautiful, polite and smart girl but had bad luck! Matilda grows up in a terrible family. Her parents are not good people. They believe that people don’t need school.Matilda has a very bad teacher but afterwards a very good one. This is the story of Matilda.
I recommend Matilda because this book is very funny, sensitive and has a happy and touching story!!

is a drama and adventurous story. This book is about parents and children. I recommend this book because it is a story aimed at raising awareness and getting familiar with the image and the concept of disability.
This book talks about a girl, her name is Melanie. Although she is very diligent as a student, she creates problems in the social and family environment. Her mother one day has an accident and that brings her sister Eftychia into the world earlier than expected.Her sister has mobility problems. Melanie becomes her sister’s guardian angel.

is a- great -novel- with -funny -moments- book. This book is about Lottie Brooks who has entered teenage life and she wants to play it comfortable, but her life has become very difficult. In her secret diary Lottie describes first crushes, the cool groups at school, the pyjamas party with her besties and some INCREDIBLY embarrassing moments!
I recommend this book to my besties and all the girls in the world because it is the best and it’s only for girls. I love it!!
